Every year or so, we release a major new software update which literally contains hundreds of new features & bug fixes. This year, our flagship version 8 release is no different - with each and every screen recoloured & redesigned, as well as stacks & stacks of new features for you play with (including many features that some of you have asked us for!). When can I get v8?When will be v8 be released? Our version 8 product is due to be released in a few months time. Return to this page in a few weeks for further information & updates.
How can I get v8? Australian customers: Please complete the v8 Rollout Request Form (available on our Forms page). Other customers: When v8 is released, simply select File -> Update StorMan Program from within your StorMan software application, and the update will download. Unlike the v4 to v7 rollout from 2008, version 8 can be self-installed, as the core "engine" that drives the product hasn't changed.
How much is v8? Upgrading to v8 is free if your facility is on a valid technical support & updates plan at the time of the upgrade. Can my computer run v8?Our latest version is a powerful piece of kit! Ensure your v8 experience is a smooth one, by checking your machines specifications against our recommendations in this knowledgebase article (#HWSHSR01 - Computer Hardware Requirements & Internet Connection Requirements). You may like to run these specifications by your IT technician if you're unsure.
