What is Storer Check?

Storer Check is a 3rd-party system for tracking bad storers. For more information, please visit the Storer Check website.

How do I setup Storer Check in StorMan?

Note: You will need your Storer Check username & password before you begin. This information is provided to you by Storer Check.

  1. Ask our Support team to enable Storer Check for your facility.
  2. Open the StorMan System Setup screen by going to the Maintenance menu, then selecting System Setup.
  3. Select the Security tab (more on this tab: #SYSSETTAB901).
  4. Locate the Storer Check Account Details section and enter your username & password (as provided to you by Storer Check).
  5. Click OK to save & return to the main StorMan screen.

How do I check a Customer using Storer Check from within StorMan?

When you create a Customer Agreement (i.e. move someone into a space), enter some of the Customer's information, then click on Storer Check (on the top-right of the Customer Info 1 tab). This will open the Storer Check website in your default web browser, with results relating to the current Customer and the Storer Check enquiry you have just made for that Customer.

Note: The Storer Check system does not mind how much or how little information you enter - so long as there's enough to perform a search (generally the Customer name on its own will be fine - unless it's a common name, such as 'John Smith', etc).
