Charging an invoice printing fee

StorMan can be configured to charge a fee each time an invoice is printed. As the name suggests, this fee is not charged when the invoice is emailed. Note: Before you set this up, make sure you have an Analysis Code (more on this: #ANLWAC01) that you can assign to the invoice printing fee so that you can track the income earned from this fee (sometimes referred to as an "Administration fee").

How do I setup StorMan to charge an invoice printing fee?

  1. From the Maintenance menu, select Notice Plans.
  2. Double-click on the Notice you wish to charge an invoice printing fee with (usually your Reminder notice). Note: The Notice you select will need to be setup to include an invoice when triggered; if not, the fee will not be charged.
  3. Select the Notice Charges tab.
  4. Locate the Invoicing Fee section (towards the bottom) & set an invoice printing fee amount.
  5. Select the Analysis Code (more on this: #ANLWAC01) that you'd like to assign this fee to, from the dropdown. Note: The name of the Analysis Code will appear on your invoices against the fee, so ensure that it is relevant.
  6. Click OK, then Done to save & close.
