What is the Stock Control System?

The Stock Control System lets StorMan keep count of the quantities of items you have available to sell.

How do I setup Stock Control?

You will need to open the relevant analysis codes (more on this: #ANLADET01) for each type of item that you sell and click the Enable Stock Control option on the Analysis Code screen, as shown below. Do this for each Analysis Code that you wish to record quantities / stock levels for. Enable Stock Control

Before you can sell, you'll need to add item quantities!

Now that you've setup stock control, StorMan will most likely think you have "zero" stock of everything. So the next step would be to add quantities into the system so that StorMan knows how many you have and also so that StorMan lets you begin selling these items. To find out how to add item quantities to StorMan, see: #IVTAIQ01.
