Introduction

StorMan recently finalised our v9.2.1 release (read our news article). This knowledgebase article will walk you through how to upgrade from an existing version 9 installation, to StorMan v9.2.1. Please refer to the warnings above before proceeding.

How to upgrade StorMan Pro (Standalone) or StorMan MultiSite

  1. Read the important warnings & notes near the top of this page. If you understand them, continue to the next step.
  2. Write down the name & location of your StorMan datafile - you may need this in Step 8 (more on this: #HWSSMDBLOC01).
  3. Perform a backup in StorMan (read more about Backups).
  4. Quit the StorMan application.
  5. Uninstall your current version of StorMan (more on how to do this via Microsoft's help website).
  6. Download StorMan v9.2.1 for Windows or for Mac (for standalone environments) to a memorable place that you have access to on your computer.
  7. Once the download is complete, run the installer.
  8. When complete, close the installer and launch StorMan. When prompted (or if StorMan is not opening your regular Facility Datafile), point StorMan to the location of your Facility Datafile, as per the note you made at Step 2 (more on this: #HWSWDF01).
