Printing the Event Log

To print the event log, select Maintenance, then View or Print Event Log. Print appears on the window that opens; click it to see the event log printing window, as shown below.Printing the Event Log

  • Date lets you set what date the event log should be dated.
  • Print events since last report, when selected, will print all of the event log events since the last report was run.
  • Print selected date range, when selected, will allow you to print the events for the selected period of time.
  • Print displayed events only, when selected, will only print the records you had displayed on the pervious screen (for example, the results from running query or search on the event log).
  • Print a previous log (not shown in the above screenshot) will appear if you have previously run an event log report. It allows you to select the date of a previously-run event log report, so that you can reprint it.
  • The MultiView section towards the bottom of the screen only appears if you use our StorMan MultiView product, and allows you to select the sites that the event log report will be printed for.
  • Generate will run the report.
