What does the 'System control record in use' error mean?
This particular error appears when more-than-one user is attempting to access the software's System Control Record (the main system file within the StorMan database) at the same time. This may happen, for example, when someone is editing the preferences within System Setup while another user (connected to the same StorMan Server) is attempting to run a process which needs to access the same data or control record - for example, Daily Processing.
How do I fix a 'System control record in use' error?
Wait until all other users have finished accessing the data which is using the system control record, and try again.
