What is the Waiting List?
The Waiting List is a list of Sales Enquiries (more on this: #SAENQABT01) that are waiting for a particular Berth / Unit / Vault type to become available.
How do I add a Customer to the Waiting List?
There are two ways to do this - one more useful than the other.
- Open the Sales Enquiry in question and click Add to Waiting List on the first tab (more on this tab: #SAENQTAB101). This adds the Sales Enquiry to the waiting list, but doesn't provide any detail as to what particular type of unit the customer might be waiting for.
- Open the Sales Enquiry in question and create a quote for the customer (more on quoting: #SAENQQT01). When adding a Berth / Unit / Vault to the quote, select the option to add it to the waiting list. This will add the Sales Enquiry to the waiting list and note down the berth type / item type / unit type / vault type that they're waiting for as well; thus providing more detail than the first method above. Furthermore, if an existing customer moves out a berth type / item type / unit type / vault type that someone else is waiting for, StorMan will remind you that someone is waiting for the berth type / item type / unit type / vault type that you've just made available.
How do I remove a Customer from the Waiting List?
To remove a Sales Enquiry from the waiting list, open the Sales Enquiry in question and click Remove from Waiting List on the first tab (more on this tab: #SAENQTAB101). It is in the same position as the button mentioned against the first bullet-point above, however the wording changes to reflect the button's function.
How do I view or print the Waiting List?
To view the Waiting List, select , then . You can click Print Waiting List from the same screen to print a copy of the list.
