- The Salutation, Customer name, Firstname, Date of Birth, Contact Person and ABN No (aka VAT or other form of tax number) fields are self explanatory. However, it is worthy of note that if you enter the Customer name in reverse and separate it with a comma and a space, StorMan will automatically recognise that anything after the "comma space separator" is going to be the Customer's firstname. The Firstname field (to the right of the Customer name field) will then automatically populate with the Customer's firstname! This can save time, particularly with longer names.
- The Mail address and Street address fields are self explanatory.
- The Contact & Other Information fields are self explanatory, however it's worthy of mention that clicking on will allow you to compose and send a TXT (SMS) message to that mobile number . In addition, clicking on next to the email address will automatically launch your external / 3rd-party email client (if not already open; e.g.: Microsoft Office Outlook) and open a new email message with this Customer's email address pre-filled. This will allow you to quickly and easily send them an email using your external email application. Note: To have an email sent to multiple recipients, separate each email address with a comma. Note: Using a 3rd-party email software to send emails to Customers is not recommended, as StorMan is unable to keep a record of these type of emails. Where possible, please use StorMan's built-in email tools (i.e.: the #AGTTAB401), as this ensures there is always a log of Customer communications. tab:
- The four custom fields can be customised in System Setup
.- Vehicle information is self explanatory and allows you to store information about a boat or vehicle that the Customer may be storing. The registration number field can also be searched using StorMan's search function, which may come in handy when reviewing CCTV footage .
- The Waived late fees section shows the number of late fees (an item with the analysis code LF assigned to it ) that have been waived for this Customer so far . You can reduce the waived late fee counter by clicking the icon provided.
