What is the Alert note used for?

The Alert note is used to alert other staff members about a particular Agreement, Reservation, Other Credit Sale or Sales Enquiry - as it alerts them before they see anything else.

It is often used to remind staff that they may need to obtain a signature or something else from the Customer that they may have initially forgotten to do. Some companies use it to remind other staff members not to accept cheque's from Customers that may often pay with cheque's that bounce due to insufficient funds.

How do I add an Alert note?

You can add an Alert note by opening the Sales Enquiry, Reservation, Other Credit Sale or Agreement in question, and selecting the Notes & Alerts tab. Once you add some alert note text, be sure to activate it by selecting the checkbox underneath.

How do I change or disable the Alert note?

You can change the Alert note by opening the Sales Enquiry, Reservation, Other Credit Sale or Agreement in question, and selecting the Notes & Alerts tab. Edit the text as required, in the Alert note field. To disable the note from appearing up front, uncheck the tick box underneath the note text (in this same area).
