StorMan Internet Backups (also known as Online Backups or Offsite Backups) is an add-on service that allows you to have your StorMan datafile backed up offsite, onto our secured internet servers. This provides peace-of-mind in case of a flood, fire or vandalism attack at or on the premises that houses your StorMan computers. This service also provides a fail-safe, should your computer be stolen or damaged (due to a virus, or hardware failure).
StorMan Internet Backups are weekly (i.e. one backup per week).
Yes! When we setup & configure your internet backups, we will ask you what time & day you would like them to occur. Most people request a time late at night or early in the morning - for example, 2:30am, to ensure the backup doesn't interrupt normal daily operations. Sometimes, in order to reduce load on our servers and infrastructure, we may request your backup occurs inside a particular block of time. You will need to keep your StorMan computer and internet connection running at the time the backup is scheduled.
If you use StorMan Internet Backups and miss a backup window due to your computer being broken, switched off, or your internet connection being offline, StorMan will automatically re-attempt the Internet Backup if it detects an internet connection next time you open the program. You may also be required to restart the computer & then re-open StorMan to trigger the backup re-attempt

Internet backups are usually billed quarterly in advance, but this may change depending on which particular StorMan sales office looks after the billing of your services. Ensure that your internet connection & computer are up and running at the time of the backup. Also, check to ensure that your firewall software is not blocking StorMan from reaching the internet. In most cases, you will need to check the Windows Firewall program, as well as any 3rd-party applications such as Zone Alarm, Norton Internet Security, etc.
Ask your IT service provider or computer technician if you're not sure how to check this.
