Why export financial data out of StorMan?

StorMan is able to export certain financial information to supported accounting packages (find out what packages we support: #ACTSAP01) in order to prevent double-entry & save time for accountants / owners.

By setting up your general ledger (chart of accounts) in StorMan, StorMan will be able to assign items that you earn income from, to particular categories. This, in turn, allows you to sort this data and group it for export to an accounting program. With this function, you can easily view profit & loss (within particular income areas) in your accounting package, without having to manually transfer your financial data from StorMan to your accounting program.

How do I setup the export in StorMan?

We recommend your accountant join you on the day you choose to setup the accounting software export in StorMan, as they will likely be more familiar with the accounting terminology used in this area of StorMan. They will also no-doubt be able to assist you in setting up the correct GL codes, which will need to correctly map across to the GL codes in your accounting software.

To export financial data from StorMan, please view our list of supported accounting packages (find out what packages we support: #ACTSAP01) and click over to the instructions for your particular accounting package from there.
