Setting up Access Control - via Sentinel or Sentinel Platinum (#ACCSSEN01)

  • Communication between Sentinel & StorMan only works with Sentinel Platinum. If you have the non-Platinum version, there will be no communication from Sentinel to StorMan, so no gate log will display in StorMan.

Setting up Sentinel or Sentinel Platinum in StorMan

  1. Select Maintenance, then Access Control Setup.
  2. Configure your Access Control setup screens as shown below (screenshots of both Tab 1 & Tab 2 are provided)...Tab 1 - SentinelTab 2 - SentinelNote: Log file (import from access system) only works if you use Sentinel Platinum. If you don't use Sentinel Platinum, leave this section blank. Note: These are the default settings and may have been changed by the Sentinel installer. Please check with your installer to ensure the above settings will work with your system.
  3. Once setup, click OK.
  4. Finally, ensure that your Sentinel software is running, then restart StorMan. Test the system with your installer to ensure that the systems are communicating correctly.

 

Setting up Sentinel Platinum

  1. Open the Sentinel Platinum program.
  2. Navigate to the configuration section & copy the configuration specifics as outlined in the screenshots below... Sentinel Configuration Sentinel Configuration
