Why would I want to assign a timezone to a Customer?

Timezones are configured in your access control software (not in StorMan), and are essentially a set of rules that define when a Customer can access their Berth / Unit / Berth. For example, Timezone 1 may be configured to allow 24-hour access, while Timezone 2 may be setup to allow access during business hours only.

To find out more about supported access control systems, please see #ACCSUPS01.

How to assign a timezone to a Customer

  1. Open the Agreement that you wish to set the timezone for.
  2. Navigate to the Access & Insrnc tab (find out more about this tab: #AGTTAB501).
  3. Next to Timezone, enter the number of the timezone that this Customer is to be on.
  4. Click OK.
